Numbers – Test

⏱ Time remaining: 10:00
Exam Instructions: Number Declension & Usage

Verification of Czech Numerical Skills

This assessment focuses on your ability to use numbers in context. Counting is easy, but using them in cases is where the real skill lies.

Key Concepts:

The test includes the declension of 1-4 (tří, čtyřem, jedním) and recognizing large numbers like dvě stě (200) vs pět set (500).

Case Triggers:

Watch for prepositions like bez (Genitive) or s (Instrumental) which will force the number into its inflected form.

Rules for Success:

  • Gender Awareness: "One" and "Two" have specific forms for masculine vs. feminine/neuter.
  • Timer: 10 minutes. Math and Grammar combined require focus!
  • Spelling: Pay attention to the 'ě' in dvě stě vs. the 'a' in tři sta.
