Active Recall: Adjectives vs. Adverbs
This session covers two major skills: comparison (better, best) and the transformation of adjectives into adverbs (fast vs. quickly).
Irregular Comparison:
Focus on the "Big 4" irregulars: dobrý/lepší, špatný/horší, velký/větší, and malý/menší. These don't follow the standard rules!
Adverbial Shift:
Notice how adjectives ending in -ý often change to -e or -o to describe how something is done (e.g., rychle, dobře, horko).
Optimization Strategy:
- ✔ Step 1: For superlatives, just remember the prefix nej- (e.g., nejlepší).
- ✔ Step 2: Watch for opposites: bohatý/chudý (rich/poor), čistý/špinavý (clean/dirty).
- ✔ Step 3: Once you can compare and modify actions, take the 📝 Test.
